100 miles east of Nome
Climate: Subarctic, changing to inland climate with onset of winter, freezing of Norton Sound. Average annual snowfall of forty inches, annual precipitation of roughly 20 inches.
Visitor Facilities: No hotels, restaurants or banking facilities. Groceries and other basic items may be purchased at the Elim Native Store or Eagle’s Cache Store owned by the Elim Native Corporation. Accommodations may be arranged with the City of Elim which has several rooms available in the City Building.
