Climate: Long, cold winters; but summers are relatively warm. Annual precipitation is about 16 inches, with 56 inches of snow.

Visitor Facilities: There are no hotels, restaurants or banking services. Laundromat and showers are available and supplies and groceries can be purchased at the village store, Harry O'Brown Trading.
